I picked up 1 of my chalice today and they are stuck together by this crap! What is it and how do I get rid of it?
any help would be appreciated!!

That looks like a Dictyota species a marvelous multi-colored Macroalgae.
I would keep it. It does not usually grow fast so it's not a nuisance, but adds color and variety to the reef aquarium.
