So in a closed loop application a mag 3 will switch slower than&nbsp;a mag 5 and a mag 7 will cause even faster switching.</P><P>Bryguy, I ran a mag 5 externally on my 26 gallon for almost a year. I would say that it probably shoots out of each locline for 5 to 7 seconds before it switches seems to do a fair job of circulation but slows the flow. For me i think that in the application that Melev is using it the SCWD would be ideal but I agree with Mark in that i would use locline attachments for better disspursement throughout the tank. But if i did read that right it was only a 29 gallon wouldn't need to be directed too much! <span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by coche</span>]]>
