Not knowing exactly&nbsp;how tall&nbsp;it needed to be to create the right level, I cut the standpipe short and placed a coupler on the end. A short length of pipe, made into the crown, was inserted into the coupler. To get the cap to sit just right, and be adjustable, so that it's bottom edge just touches the water, a movable ring of pipe is inserted into the cap.</FONT></P><P><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2>Brian, by what&nbsp;you wrote, I'm worried about those holes drilled in the 1" pipe below the waterline. My&nbsp;concern is that the sump will overflow when the power goes out. I had to use that design when I was running u tube overflows becasue of the resticted space. I works of the same princable as the standard dursu the larger pipe goes over the top and overlaps like an umbrella. The drain holes are higher up then the lip of the lareger pvc piece. If that makes sense. The concept is the exact same as far as how it works. As far as the one Brian has I am not sure I would have to see it in person. ]]>
