I've had great luck with both of those ATO's on small tanks. I always used the JBJ with an aqualifter so I can't speak to the BRS pump in this configuration but I've run that pump for auto water change on a small tank with sucess.

I think it will really come down to whether you want float switches or optical switches. The float switches need a bit more room and are a bit prone to build up causing them not to slide. The optical seamed to need cleaning more as debrit and coraline will set them off just like water will.

I'm starting a 32 Gallon Bio Cube and Need to get an ATO. What do you recommend? The 2 I am looking into are the Tunze 3155 or the JBJ with a BRS 50ml Pump. Do you recommend any of these or any others? I'd prefer not to spend a lot but if the cheaper ones are garbage I don't want them.
