ThereThere were more than one issue with that update. Many people were having issues after updating. Some people were able to get them working again after the update with the help of a remote session from Neptune. But of a rocky start with the new version bit it sounds like they are finally getting a handle on it.

Hi guys,
Just read that there is an issue with the internal SD cards in the first few shipments of the newest apex model. If you haven't heard, if you try to upgrade the software, you may "brick" your apex where it doesn't turn on. If you get this on the upgrade, they're shipping out replacements for this issue.
