I can't explain it. Maybe there is another benefit to daytime sunlight/good algal growth that is at work here? I don't know. It's all in the power of sunlight and algae. The power of sunlight is amazing. It will keep the algae growing/photosynthesizing to provide dissolved Oxygen for all the animals. If there is a Refugium, open the doors to help save the Refugium. Also place most of the Macroalgae up in the display.
