When they are young you can feed them every day and give them a day off every so often. Make sure you add iodine to it's food. Squid, krill and clams will all work. You should also order mazuri and use this as a supplement. Get the gel, the pills will be to large.

A shark can pig out just like his cousin the Ray. Bamboo sharks are nocturnal so feeding yours at night can be an advantage until it gets used to a daytime feeding routine. Raw shrimp from the grocery store and silversides are good too.

Just got a baby Bamboo Shark. As i've dealt a lot with stingrays, I never dove into sharks until now. Just wanted to know what are their eating patterns as a pup? I picked him up last Saturday and was eating frozen krill. He seems to more comfortable and eating krill in my system. I'm just not sure if they are a "pig out" type fish or feed once every few days. Just want some incite and some friendly advice to get me started.
