It was SPS-dominant too. I used a bicycle rack hook stuck into an electric drill to stir the tank and the battery-powered bubblers. Thankfully the outage occurred in September, so the temperature was constant.

Saying that, my tank when I first moved here crashed after a 32 hour power outage since it was located in the basement. The temp got down to 40 degrees (some survived, including SPS.) I ran battery-powered bubblers, and I wrapped the tanks in blankets. I even added the rechargeable heat packs, but they weren't enough.

I now just have a generator, battery backups on my Vortechs, and the battery powered bubblers. Not worth the worry anymore.

That being said I was hooking up bubblers and vortechs to a battery back up when everything finally kicked back on. Also I was pouring tank water on the corals that were poking out of the water every 15 minutes or so and to my surprise none of them were slimmed up when every thing was up and running again.

Stress was very high!!!!!!!

Needless to say a back up generator is getting installed soon.

The fish are what you should be concerned about since they use the most oxygen. Inverts can survive without flow or oxygen for awhile. Hopefully this is short term.
