universal cylinders ripped me last time... had my last fill there like 1.5 years ago... went back last month and they said that tank was out of date and needed to be hydro tested for around $40 bucks had barely any rust another $15 bucks for bead blasting and another $15 to get it filled..

cost me $70+ for a steel tank fill ... what a joke wont be going back there. was in a hurry that day and paid but will go to airgas from now on

Yes, you want food/beverage grade, which is what most places carry. As far as cost, most of us have 5lb bottles, which cost $15 to fill. I think you'll want food grade. I'm setting up a calcium reactor for the first time and I'm a little uncertain about it. When I go to Praxair to fill my CO2 tank what grade of CO2 do I want to buy or does it matter? What is the average cost to fill tank? I think my tank is a 35lb tank.
