I think that they are called peanut worms because they look like an elephants trunk grasping for peanuts. The one that I know I have has lived in the same rock since I have had it and only reaches out as far as it can reach out from its hole. Doesn't bother anyone, in fact I once had a firefish that camped out with it. Hey guys, I was looking in my tank today, and on the side a Big Worm Was way up in the rock and coming out into the tank. It look like it was eating At then end of the mouth had little tenicals then it would grab something and bring it in. What in the would is it!
