If you don't I would look into either the tunze 9002 skimmer, its a little small for the tank but an excellent skimmer and I believe it can be ordered with magnets to hold it in place against the back or side of your tank at the desired level. Or there is the red sea hob prizm skimmer, not the best but does the job if set correctly

It pisses me off sooooooo bad because our petco sales a bunch of salt water fishes and huge tanks, but only tiny skimmers.. i only got it because it was the only one that was kinda big.... all the other ones were a tiny simple set up..... i have alot of water movement around it though:) and sadly its on a 55 gal. on the box it says 10 through 40 gallons though. They had a bunch of different sized skimmers by oceanic for biocubes there. most of which were under 30 gallons. I will absolutly get a bigger one though soon, no matter what.

The only way more water can "flow" thru it is with more water movement around it. Mine I have to empty 1-2 a week since it gets full that quick. And the foam it produces was pretty amazing to me.

Now if I had any bigger then say a 12-14gallon I think I would go a differnt route with a skimmer. But that's just me

I did this so i could turn up the air valve all the way to include as much bubbles as possible, but on full blast with out the tube, there is defeinitaly alot more bubbles, but now they dont reach all the way to the top............ So i used my own air pump i got from walmart a while back the it is A LOT stronger. I acutaly had to turn down the air just a bit cause there was to much. Now there is alot more air being forced alot faster all around and its sucking water in faster and stronger than it was............ Yes this is odd, but i smelled the top of the tank water (not touching it!) and it didnt smell like much, but then i smelled in the skimmer and it smelled really strong, so i hope that means there is stuff collecting...

You can get a good needlewheel skimmer like the Hydor Slim Skim for not much money, and it will out perform the oceanic in every way possible.
