    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=697">fj40fax</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5668<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> March&nbsp;10&nbsp;2005 at 5:23pm<br /><br /><P>This tank has been set up for almost 5 years.&nbsp; It is just going through a big upgrade right now.&nbsp; I have lost most recently 2 false perculas, a lawnmower blenny, I'm sure there have been others, but i just don't remember (I try not to get too attached).&nbsp; My CBS did pretty well, until his untimely meeting with the overflow.</P><P>The things that have done&nbsp;really well are the polyps, mushrooms, colt, and some LPS.&nbsp; Never really tried SPS until recently, I will se how they do in a few months.&nbsp; My coraline has always been great on my rocks, and on the back wall.&nbsp; </P><P>I have never tested any water parameters.&nbsp; I have only used 2 part calcium additives and 5 gallon water changes about once per month.</P><P>I have always had some kind of an algal problem although the species changes from time to time.&nbsp; I have never had a big hair algae outbreak, but the red slime has been a problem many times.&nbsp; I suspect that this is mainly due to not using RO/DI water.&nbsp; I have just used carbon filtered tap water, but that is going to change with this latest round of changes.</P><P>Fax</P>]]>
