I prefer to set up the tank in a way that it can survive a power outage without any intervention from the hobbyist. I would be happy to expound upon how proper understanding of these simple concepts can help a tank survive an extended power outage:
Temperature
Lighting
Biofiltration
Algae

Great replies everybody thanks haven't got the funds to invest in a generator. But the cordless drill mixing the tank up is a great idea. I guess I could just pack the the tank up move it to your house for the night and watch some T.V. haha Your houses will have all the lights on. People will be like how do you have all this power? And are you popping popcorn? Is that finding nemo playing?!! hahaha
