YMMV, but yes they do eat bristle worms. Does his belly look full or sunken in? Is he active and seem normal other than the fact that you haven't seen him eat?

They do. They have do live Blackworms - $2 a strained teaspoon.

Your CBB should devour them... Try introducing other foods along with the worms once you get him eating them.

You could also soak them in some Selcon and or Garlic. Some say the Garlic is an appetite stimulant as well as having the anti-bacterial/antimicrobial properties. Others recommend Vitamin C.

they'll eat blackworms like candy....never had a copperband that didnt....but I guess the real problem is there are none in your area (Fish 4 u has them all the time here in SL).....so just to get by I would try bloodworms as they closely resemble them....isn't too great of a diet, but should tie him over until you can get the proper food.

Btw- you can order live blackworms online for cheap and they'll stay alive for a few weeks in the fridge (if your spouse lets you keep them in the fridge)Wink

That long nose is used to pull worms out of the reef in the wild

We had a copperband that loved to eat fresh clams, I would try that ASAP. Maybe you will get lucky.

Also, brine shrimp do not have a high nutritional value especially once they are older. I would use Selco. Brine Shrimp Direct carries it. You don't want to use it all the time as it has a very fatty content. But it is great nutritionally for the fish. Once selco is added the brineshrimp do not live long however, it suffocates them.

Birdworld is the only one that I know that carries live Brine, it is expensive but I would definitely go that route and then do your own hatchery if you chose.

Aquarium Masters has baby brine shrimp hatched out for their banggai cardinal babies.  I guess you probably want some bigger live food though.  

What about a bottle of Tigger pods?

I can probably pull some pods out of my sump.

Bird world does carry live brine, but they are expensive IMHO. Can get you through for now, but if you're gonna keep him and he takes to eating bring I'd get a brine shrimp hatchery and just raise your own.
