My Skimmer is a g3 the pump is a Sedra 5000,
Mark you are right this morning water is Crystal clear.

Does the tank smell funny or does it smell normal? If normal, no worries. If the anemone is spawning, that is just good food for the tank. If it's releasing waste, the tank can handle it and I'll bet has handled it before, when you weren't looking.

Looked at my tank today and I was very proud of how clean the water is even without my skimmer not working the pump went out on the skimmer.
