I would also recommend fragging followed by an iodine dip. It looks like brown jelly disease to me, which will continue to spread if not cut off (it can also jump to other LPS corals which is never good). The only success I've ever had in stopping it is fragging ahead of the dying tissue followed by a medicated bath.  Hope this helps.

At this point, you might want to try basically fragging it...

Cutting off all of the dead area, plus maybe 1/4" into the "good" area.

Kind of drastic, but I don;t know what else to try...

We got a Welso from a fellow reefer and they had a tang that was bothering it so that is where the die off is in the picture. We have had it a day and it was doing well, but now it is dying... can we do a Iodine dip or what should we do????
