Ya I have to agree with Jwoo. When he was here for MWRF he talked about acclimating inverts for 4.5 hours. Not fish!

Ah that would be Forest Gahn. He originally gave that talk last year at the MWRF. He DOES drip SOME things 4.5 hours but not fish! He is an expert on echnioderms (Sea stars, cucumbers etc.) and that advice is spot on for those kind of inverts. 4.5 hours is a long long time to acclimate a fish and unlike sea stars don't need the extra time acclimating.

I do drip acclimate my fish but only for about 30 minutes. Inverts I drip for way longer. Haha i was told to acclimate for a way way long time! i was told that the temperature on the water should change like.. 3 degrees an hour.
