That's so fantastic that you have such growth. Aren't you loving this!

Remind me, are you using tap water or Reverse Osmosis purified water?

Don't worry about the Caulerpa melting away. Just keep it trimmed.
You can trim all that macroalgae back to manageable levels by hand or by fish. Tangs and Rabbitfish are excellent grazers of macroalgae, but may also completely wipe it out. Almost all algae is extremely beneficial to the reef aquarium.

That's why so many of us keep Refugiums, to have the benefit of algae growth where we can manage it rather than see it disappear into the belly of a fish. Now that you are having success with your tank, you may want to consider upgrading to a larger tank with refugium or add a refugium to the existing setup.

This is what i got off the internet.

During this phase, it turns white in a short period of time, and then turns into mush, releasing a large quantity of undesirable nutrients into the system (this includes the germ cells of their sexual reproduction). The risk of macros going sexual can be greatly reduced by cutting it back regularly.

Well I don't have a sump and it is Growing all over my Rocks and it is very hard to get off.. I can Trim it probity but as i read they can do some bad things to your tank? If they Reach a sexual state they can do something with the Nitrates? I personally prefer to keep my macro algea in the sump. However some people like the look of it in the main tank.

I have a big bunch of plants i put in my tank to start out with, with the new lighting it is growing Fast and connecting to all my LR... This is what i have*

Caulerpa racemosa
(Grape Caulerpa)

Caulerpa serrulata
(Sawtooth or Razor Caulerpa

Chaetomorpha sp.
(Spaghetti Macroalgae)

Halimeda opuntia

Valonia sp.
(Bubble Algae)

Is this Good? I been Reading and it says it can do something to my Nitrats..? Should I keep it or Throw it? If i keep it how can i maintain it..?
