Yep that is what we do with ours and it works great. Just cut a cola bottle and stick it over the sun coral and feed it the mysis and within minutes its opened. I picked up a nice sun coral at the MWRF and have been trying to entice it open to feed it.  It seems to be learning that when I put food in the tank in the evening it should open up.  When it does I feed it mysis with a turkey baster.
