No, I don't think so. I think the phyto must eat what nuisance algaes eat, 'cause since we've been using it , all the cyano.hairy and slimey stuff is so gone! Hi, Guys! This is so cool! Our cyanobacteria is completely replaced with hair algae, thanks to our wonderful culture of green stuff in the basement! Does anyone have some spare rotifers to start our culture? And ,in case anyone is wondering, even though Kent says its product is nanno something phytoplanton, it doesn't grow. Ok, Kirk got me excited to start a culture. I ordered some fertilizer from the florida site, but I couldn't wait to get started. I got a bottle of green fron the LPS, got the set up going w/o the fertilizer. Has anybody heard about using miracle grow? Some one mentioned that to me......How much would I use? Anybody tried it?
