Macro algea seems much less fussy with light then corals. I have dealt with hello lights before and would recomend them. good prices and service. I would also recomend doing a reverse daylight if you can. I belive mine has made a differance. ]]>

I've found some good deals on hellolights.com, in particular the mini aqua light 18Watt PC.  They have two choices 9watt 10000K with 9watt actinic or 2 9watt 6700K.  <br />Which spectrum would be best for macroalgae? and is 18 watts going to be sufficient for a 5-6 gallon refugium?<br />For space reasons i've decided not  go with the ever popular home depot PCs.<br />Thanks<br />Jeremy]]>
