My AI Hydra 26 HD is being used on my 60G cube with a 2x2 footprint and I couldn't be happier. I love this light!

I'm a fan of kessils. I like the simplicity of the setup. I had Vegas and hydra before and they would be glitchy and hard to control. Now I just use a physical connection to my apex. I don't want the crazy contolability.

I would do Radion Pros if it were me. I still love my T5's, but if/when I make the switch it will be to Radions

I use a160we on my 180 mixed reef they do well. I have one every 18". I run them at 100%. If you are doing soft for lps this seems to be enough. If you are thinking if having lots of SPS lower in the tank I might go with the larger a360s. One thing you can look into is the narrow versions of the kessil a360. If your 90 gal has a 2x2 footprint that would make it 3ft deep. The narrow version of the kessil would help you get good par at the bottom. If it where me I would go with the a360ne tuna blue. I would start with 1 and get another it I felt like it needed it. Like I said. They are simple to control. Just two knobs, color (from blue to white) and intensity.

2x2 footprint? So is it 4 feet deep? Or do you mean 2x4 footprint?

Is for the Rhinopious tank? What are you planning to grow in it?

It's sort of a generic question, as I'm looking to light a few tanks. One in particular is dividing my current 300 gal tanks into three light fixtures.

We have a 24*24*24 cube with one Kessel 360. Then we have a Red Sea 750 xxl with 4- Hydro 26. Right now I would say Kessel wins ... Both are good any questions fill free to PM me. You could even come over and play with both of them if you would like.

AI, Kessils, Ecotech... They're kind of all the same now. The only difference is how you want to play with them, how much you want to spend and how you want the light to spread. AIs are kind of finicky, kessils are basic, Ecotech are less finicky and not as basic. They all grow stuff if you get the right amount of them and other parameters are in check.
