After looking around a lot I am planning on  ordering the CAD Lights 18G AIO for my first nano. My only concern is that I don't see many of them up and running  currently. Has anyone had one that would be willing to give me some good feedback? I love the rimless cubes and was originally looking at some of the Innovative Marine AIO's but after seeing some of the horror stories on forums I am leaning towards CAD Lights. Any feedback/suggestions is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

I cannot speak for this tank directly but I have the 70G and have had a few problems. Although Cadlights has fixed the issue it took them a long time and were not proactive in fixing anything.

The issues I mostly had were related to a sump and protein skimmer but I'm not sure if that tank has them.

Overall I am happy with the looks but had many thoughts of quiting from it. I would buy again from with very low expectations. I actually got all the help I needed on it from a couple of users here.

If it is self-contained, then probably ok.  If it has a sump, do some reading.  A couple of posters on here have had nothing but trouble with the plumbing -- something about CAD not using standard sized plumbing parts and the fitting from the tank to the sump leaks and CAD knows it and keeps selling tanks with this defect.  So buyer beware.  With that said, they made my custom rimless shallow tank, but the tank itself is all they made and it is very very nice.  So they do a good job with the glass box part of the equipment.

I agree. Its too bad Cadlights cannot get their stuff together. They have awesome stuff but just have poor management. They need to be acquired by a company that can execute and the brand could be massive and trusted.

I just got my cad lights 4 Gallons.  I had a good experience with customer service and the price was great.  Anyways I have been pleased so far with the tank.

Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.
