I am thinking about a 30 gallon acrylic tank with a circ pump for mixing/transfering. the reason why is I am limited on room so if I have one built to a certain size it will fit perfectly beside my tank and not be noticed much. it will have a float valve for my RO system so just add salt - mix - transfer to tank - done!

What do you all think about this?

If it is going to be next to your tank you could plumb it In to your main tank and also have a way to bypass the water change tamk. When you want to do a water change you close the valve to the main tank, drain the water from the Water change tank, refill with Ro, add salt, mix for a while, and then reopen the valve to complete the water change.

I plan on plumbing it to the sumpso all I will need to do is remove the old and turn on pump for a minute and replace with new. after replacing it will automatically refill and I will add salt and mix.

Don't just use it for water change, add the water volume to the whole system. Then simply segregate it when you go to change the water.
