Hey my name is cody i just started doing saltwater aquariums about a month ago and just got me a 90 gallon a few weeks ago. I wanted to start a tank thread so i can post pics and show my progression of the tank iv very excited about it. its still cycling cant wait to start filling it with corals and fish :)
I started with 100 lbs of dry macro rock very nice stuff easy to work with did the scape my self even did some caveing and chizzle work myself. my light set up is 2 halides 2 power compacts and 3 moon lights. i have a 30gal sump pump with a skimmer and filter sock and about 35 lbs of live rock in the stand. i have 2 Koralia 1400 powerheads. ill have more pics and progression as i go thanks for looking :)

Oh and by the way this is a tank that i picked up from troyholl he broke it down to upgrade to a 270g thanks again troy awesome tank!!

Few new things with the 90 Gallon it has fully cycled and i have put a couple things in so far. I have added a small colony of Purple Acans about 40 - 50 heads on it counting baby heads coming in :) i also have a white chromis he was my starter fish he is doing well. and i later added a pajama cardinal and he is doing great as well. i do have a watermelon mushroom in there but its to smal at the moment for pics. shroom was tranfered from my 20 gallon :)

FUN!! The only advice, which I don't always follow myself, is go slow...

Yes, go slow, if you think your tank is ready for coral, wait at least one more week.. :) LOoking Good though!
