I'm looking for a skimmer for a 90g tank with 30g sump I purchased.  Which skimmer offers the best bang for your buck performance?  Also this is my first sump, I have a return pump but I assume I'll still need a pump for skimmer? Is that correct?

They normally come with a pump to drive the skimmer.

First question is how big is the space that this skimmer will reside.

Know that we can make a recommendation.

ASM 2 would be a good option.

I have a Euroreef that is similar and like it quite a bit.

I would recommend the SWC cone 160 it is a nice skimmer and priced right. They are also built really well. They perform really well.
