A small slug-like creature was climbing up the back wall of my tank today. I've never seen something like it before. Unfortunately he had moved by the time I got a camera.
He was small and had a tan body and had these bright green neon growths coming out of his body in different areas. They looks like little tree branches. Any idea what it is? Good or bad?

Some kind of nudibranch? I would have said stomatilla snail, but then you said bright green growths and that sounds (pics would be great) more like a nudibranch.

Oh, and most likely it wont hurt much. They are usually algae eaters, or sponge eaters. Either is ok with me, but I dont have any prized sponges.

My first thought was a nudibranch. It was tiny, about the size of a dime. I did try to get a pic with my cell phone before I ran off for a camera, but it just looks like a tan blob. Either way I wonder where he came from??? It's kinda fun finding hitchhikers... as long as they aren't bad.

A picture would help if you can get one. I haven't seen so many strange things come out of nowhere until I got in this hobby.
