It was about time to do something serious with acrylic, so Chris (theanimalman) and myself decided to build each of ourselves a monster stingray tank. 10'Lx4'Wx25" to be exact. This is 620 gallons. More pictures to follow as it gets set up.    ------------- Kauai, Hawaii |

It is 1/2" acrylic, which works out great because of the height. The rays don't need much height to the tank, so it was built wide and long. They are actually going to house Motoro stingrays (Fresh water) so I won't be using a skimmer. The tank weighs in at about 331 lbs. Oh, on the solvent we used Weldon #4. We also put 1/2" square acrylic rod in all the joints to give a little extra security to the joints. ------------- Kauai, Hawaii |

I have 4 Stingrays and Chris has at least that many. Most of them came from East Coast Zoological in NJ which imports them from Peru. ------------- Kauai, Hawaii |

Since these are South American Freshwater Stingrays, I have 6 wild green discus going in with them, and I haven't decided from there if I will have anything else.
On Chris's Tank, I think he has some tigrinus Catfish, and some other type of marble catfish. Not sure what else he had in mind. ------------- Kauai, Hawaii |

I'm down to 3 Motoros.
So far the only fish in the tank are some cutteri and rainbow cichids, a pair of polleni from madagascar, a scat, some loaches and a bunch of bushynose.
I've got one tigrinus catfish and a couple of marble cats that I'll be putting in too.

My dad is looking to get rid of his FW stuff. He has clown loaches, bushynose plecos, rummynose and some red fish that I can't remember the name of. The school of rummynose are really cool!
