I'm not sure if I should post this here, or in the recommendations heading...

For our October meeting we will be holding our semiannual Coral Cutting Seminar.  What would YOU like to see us propagate?

Hey Adam, why don't you propagate live rock and give everyone 100 lbs for free!  I think you would have a pretty big turn out for the meeting.  Hahaha!!  I think that's a tough question to answer.  For obvious reasons, anything rare is going to be sought after more, but then it wouldn't be rare anymore.  I think anything that you bring will be appreciated.  He's one for you, I don't see a lot of non-photosynthetic corals in tanks.  I think they are awesome.  A lot of non-photosynthetic corals are very brightly colored.  Maybe they would be a hit at the seminar.  Good luck!

Adam,

Anything with some bright color would be nice.  If anyone is like me they already have some boring light green or brown colors and they could use something that stands out a bit.  Maybe a flourescent green torch or frogspon, or a purple gorgonian. Bright button polyps might be good.

Orrian, I've got some purple gorgonian in my tank that is dieing.  Non-photo gorgonian does not do well in my tank.  If you would like you can have a cutting.  It is dieing fast though so if you think you could keep it in yours, let me know.

As for the propagation, I am on an acro kick right now.  It grows slow enough, and there are lots of cool colors of it that I would love to have.  I would love to have some leathers like toadstools and the likes.  Also finger leathers.

I've got some cool orange button polyps in the middle of my candy coral.  The candy coral is closing in on the polyps and they have no place to go, and I don't know whether you can transplant them or not.  The candy coral grows very fast in my tank.

Bright,  bright, bright  The more colorful the better.  But since this meeting wil l probably see an influx of new people there should also be some hardy softies.
