That question does sound funny
Anyway I Have one down in the sand and I am running 175 halides and 2 vho actinics. The coral is thriving. I am willing to bet you could get away with pc lights but you would want the coral higher up. Any lps I have had experance with benifits from MH lighting.

This is kind of a broad question.  There are many corals that are considered "Brains".  Some are low-medium light and others are high light.
