I just came across some 3/8" thick precut acrylic pieces that are 14" x
24". If I used 6 of them (2 on bottom) to make a 24"x24"x14" tank would
that be a good size tank for anything? I think I've seen frag tanks
that were kind of wide and shallow like that, but thought it might be a
wierd size for a display tank.
Or I could make a 24" tall hexagon, but that seemed really tall and I started to wonder if I could build a hexagon well.
Any other ideas to use these things. Seems too nice to use on a sump.
I've never built a tank but it sounds like a fun thing to try.
My fragging tank is 36x24x12. It works great. Some time ago there was a post on building acrylic tanks. Do a search and edit your topic line to ask for assistance from some experienced people here.
