I think nanno will win, too. The others are more fragile, I think. But, it

I would know that it is one of the 5 and I would be happy with that. Iwould think that the nano would eventually out compete the rest.

My wife won the very large stocking from the meeting. It had all kindsof stuff in it. As far as this stuff being live, I've always taken itwith a grain of salt. Sure, at one time it was live. I guess I'll tryto start a culture from both phyto feast and dt's and see if either ofthem will last.

I thought DT's was live... ? Did you get it at the meeting? The DT's we gave away at the meeting was in fact a new product. Here is a quote from Dennis Tagrin (Owner of DT's)-

I won a "live" concentrate of phyto feast from the meeting. It says itis 5 different micros (Nano, Pavlova, Iso, Tetraselmis, andThallassiosira weissflogii). Do you think I could start a culture fromthis? I'm already growing about 20g of the mystery micro. I also have abunch of dead micro (dt's).

I think they need to stay alive till somethong eats them or they just
detract from the tank! When they are alive, they suck up NO3, PO4 like a
macro does...

If you are going to add something that dies instantly, maybe you could
just use concentrated paste?
