Never add salt directly to your main tank, as it tends to do more harm than good.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>I had a similiar issue when I rescued my tank. I would mix the water a little strong and bit by bit brought up to what I like.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Now the tank is doing great.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Also had really bad hair algae, make sure to check the phosphates, for me they where out of control, I'm still dealing with that.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]>
