Don't just use it for water change, add the water volume to the whole system. Then simply segregate it when you go to change the water.

If it is going to be next to your tank you could plumb it In to your main tank and also have a way to bypass the water change tamk. I am thinking about a 30 gallon acrylic tank with a circ pump for mixing/transfering. the reason why is I am limited on room so if I have one built to a certain size it will fit perfectly beside my tank and not be noticed much. it will have a float valve for my RO system so just add salt - mix - transfer to tank - done!

What do you all think about this?
