The only problem is that I don't like the actual R/O membrane in this unit. It will need to be replaced in a few months so I can then get the membrane that I would prefer (Dow filmtec). That is if the membrane fittings are universal fittings. So - my question is - are the fittings standardized among the various R/O suppliers? Or is this another one of the areas where everybody uses a proprietary fitting so that you have to buy their replacement filters etc??<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Yeah - I probably already know the answer to my own question. Any input on R/O units in general also appreciated. </DIV>]]>
