A super easy location to plumb your RO is in the laundry room. Just place a splitter on the cold faucet for the washing machine. You can run the RO drain down the same drain as the washing machine. Thanks for the info everyone.  Has anyone had success with the Dvoneb Aqua system off of ebay?  It's a 6-stage and looks like a good unit, but I'm not sure about the company.  It's 100 GPD for about $100.  Anyone used it before?

Mine is under the kitchen sink with a separate little faucet for RO drinking water. Some people even hook them up to their ice makers. My tank is in the dining room so I just run a line from under the sink through the wall to to float valve in the sump. Thanks for the info everyone.  I'm not a plumbing expert by any means, so where do you usually hook up an RO unit?  I've seen some in laundry rooms, but I'm sure there are other locations, right?  Where do you run the lines?  How feasable is it to use the unit for drinking water?  Is this a huge, complex project?

just a curious question..., because I go back and forth w/ ro/di  and tap (farmington) just depending on how much free time I have, but if all of them seem to be the same (mainly asking because I have been planning on getting one, and have procrastinated because of all the price differences)...., maybe some horor stories will help my my procrastination because I havent had any problems....  knock on wood...., let me know what terrible things Ive been doing....,
