Just place a splitter on the cold faucet for the washing machine. You can run the RO drain down the same drain as the washing machine.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1121">amorgenegg</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10561<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> February&nbsp;21&nbsp;2006 at 12:12pm<br /><br />I agree that there are some great deals on ebay for RO units.&nbsp; Ihad a hard time justifying the $200, 300 and up prices of the RO unitssold for aquariums.&nbsp; Then when I saw the ones on ebay (mine isalso from aquasafe), I was sold.&nbsp; I got mine for $100.&nbsp; It is100gpd RO+ and also came with the tank, which is great when you need aa few gallons quickly.&nbsp; I tested the tap water with a TDS and getsomewhere around 300 ppm, and with the RO I get about 2 ppm.&nbsp; Weuse it for the fish tanks, and for drinking water.&nbsp; It is great.]]>

Some people even hook them up to their ice makers. My tank is in the dining room so I just run a line from under the sink through the wall to to float valve in the sump. It works great and is all hidden.]]>
