ok now that I got your attention I want to really geek out and put a webcam on my tank however I don't think I want to go run of the mill with a crapy cam where you can't make heads or tails of anything.. I really would like to mount some sort of underwater apparatus..

any ideas?

How about mounting one (or two) in an acrylic box pointed straight down just below the surface?

That's going to be sweet.  If you had a live feed to your tank, I could stare at my computer all day at work, and think of fishies.  No wait, I do that now.

SWEET!   The big fish is dancing in the middle. lol.  Do you have music playing with the video?  It would be really cool to see your fish dancing like that to some funky tune! lol.  My puter speakers don't work, so I'm not sure if there is sound.  Anyhow, looks good and can't wait to seem more.

LOL I can see peoples reflections walking past.  All of a sudden everything went bright and I was wondering If you has some sort of lights that changed during the day but then a person walked past in the back lol.  What is that bright glowing purplish greenish stuff right in the middle?  Is it hard to keep?  Thanks

Cool gadget.  I've considered this so that I can just take a quick look in the sump room and tank, but I lack the "skills"...
