So I'm thinking of adding a sumo to my tank; currently it's a 90 gallon, but soon to be a 125. However it's not drilled, so I'm going to use a over flow box. I'm thinking of using a eshopps pf 800 (since it states for up 125 gallon aquariums). So I'm wondering if a Rio 2500 would be strong enough for it?

Has anyone ever use sun sun brand return pump in the past? (Chj-800 or ctp-800)
Will the eshopps 800 be good enough or should I go with the 1000 model instead?

Thank you

Ever looked at glass-holes.com? That's where I got my overflow but granted I had to drill the back of the tank. They have kits that come with the appropriate sized hole saw so you won't get the wrong size hole saw.

Yeah I thought about it, but I'm not ready to drill a tank. So I think a hob will be better for me
