Does anybody know how instant ocean it takes to raise salinity from 1.021 to 1.023 in 125 tank approximately???   Trying to remember but need some on info I don't want add to much to fast to aready established reef tank!             Thanks in advance!!!        Steve

3.43 lbs. I'd just put about half that in your ATO or make-up water and see what you get. I've not checked the calculations so I can't vouch for it.

Thanks !!! For response Fatman ,very good I was thinking of adding a cup at a time mixed with water and pouring it in the sump then checking again in an hour or two.    Maybe I should start higher then.

Doing it via top off is a great idea, as Fatman said. That way you do it slowly. I'd also shoot for half because its not likely you have 125G because of displacement, etc. Unless you measured exactly from the start.
