Was this a good deal? $147 shipped on Ebay for Used Precision marine A Bullet 2 skimmer? Of course i still have to buy a pump. Anyone using this skimmer? It has fairly good reviews online. I am wanting to run it externally.

I just got the SC302 skimmer from ebay for $130 if i remember right. It has great reviews and i think it does a great job and it comes with a nice pump.

The pump is the heart of the skimmer so if you put on a good pump it will still be $225-$250. Which is pretty good, but definitely not cheap (sure you are just looking for a deal not cheap) for a used skimmer
Make sure and insure it, I have heard horror stories about skimmers coming in broken.

Bubble magus curve 7 is what i have. With ozone and my water is the cleanest

Yes i really like that it can be used externally since sum will be in garage, Looks like there are a few options. I have heard the Pan worlds are a bit louder but who cares in the garage.

Precision Marine builds awesome products and they are built very well. Its a great skimmer, make sure you run a pressure rated pump, use the pump they recommend on it. What size tank are you putting it on?

I love my octopus recirc skimmer for what its worth. Its a external or internal skimmer.
