For those of you who have used PVC to create your rock structures, do you drill holes in the PVC?

Do you part of the return flowing thru thru the PVC?

I've read that many do both of the above.  Can't you just use end caps and keep the PVC water tight?

I've never done it, but you could drill shallow holes in the rock that are the same size as the pvc. Cut the pvc into smaller sections and use it to hold the rocks together.

My first couple of rockscapes were built using acrylic rods. With our latest upgrade, I decided to use a two part Epoxy putty (A+B Epo Putty). It worked out wonderfully.

I've never done it, but I've seen some that have done it.  They drilled it and attached it with wire ties, coraline hide it eventually.  They made an overhang, looking from beneath it you could see the PVC and it was bending.
