Im not going to dip my snails and crabs... but im wondering what the best thing to do for these critters, for killing the possible flatworms that would be roaming on their shells.

We are breaking down our smaller frag tank and transfering everything to a new, larger tank. I want to use the snails and crabs for the new tank but I am hesistant because the old tank was tainted with flat worms. I can see them on the shells. What do I do??

Why not dip them? Products like Salifert's Flatworm Exit and other similar flatworm treatments are snail-friendly. You could treat the whole system if you don't feel like picking every snail out.
