I read about some silicon awhile ago that's best for sealing tanks, but now I can't find it. I remember it was black and you get it from Granger.

Hit Tyler up at Elite-Aquatics he knows! Make sure you take off all the silicone from the glass before you reseal it, learned that lesson the hard way lol!

Dap has a product that will help remove the old silicone.

Thats a good silicone, if you cant find the Dow, another good silicone is Momentive RTV 108 or 103 clear/black

I know you can get Momentive through Grainger, you have to have an account with them though.
