Yes I have succumb to the led idea. I lost a ballast in my t-5's and need all bulbs replaced. So I went with a new system. I have a couple friends that have had them for over a year and still love them.
So here is the change. This is at 30% power!

Are those the standard optics or did you upgrade to wider ones? ------------- Indefinite hiatus from sw aquariums. Once I have my glorious return I'll set back up the following. 50 Gallon rimless cube. 180 Gallons mixed reef paradise |

It is the standard optics. Im up to about 40% now. Ill clean up the wiring when we get back in town and adjust it up a little more. Everything looks awesome!!

I was hoping it was 8 feet. That is the one thing that is killing me, I have a 6 foot tank and can't even think about adding 4 LED units. Just too pricey still. Glad you are enjoying them. Any further reviews and feedback would be greatly appreciated. I would like LED's but it just seems there are too many options/choices, glad you can give us some feedback! |

I'm loving them. Ill get some pictures this weekend when my boy brings back my camera. I'm at about 75%. I know they are spendy but well worth it in my opinion. Remember Patience is the key. Start out at about 30% and work your way up over a month or so. (I'm at month 4) Awesome growth from sps. Awesome color!!!
