I've had a 5 head frogspawn for several years.recently it looks as if 2 of the heads are detaching from the coral? What causes this and what can I do to help this coral?

Can you clarify, is the tissue coming off the heads or are the branches breaking? ------------- |

I've had this happen a couple times and it seems like once the tenticles start leaving the skeleton they don't recover. Have you noticed any fish nipping it lately? I had a frogspawn start to recede after growing out a ton.
