We have so many choices when it comes to lighting our tanks. Im new to the board and was just wondering if some of you wouldnt mind sharing what you have chosen. I would be interested in tank size? total watts? brand? bulbs? Color? Watts per gallon?

My specs:
65 gallon
2 Odyssea (150) MH pendants with T-5s
356 watts
Phoenix 14K bulbs
460 nm actinics on the T-5
5.4 WPG

90 gallon mixed reef- softies and sps
2x250 phoenix hqi (14k)
2x110 vho's (super actinics)
Watts per gallon isn't a good measure. PAR is a better measuring factor.

On my 120g display, I currently run an 8 bulb t5 (54w) fixture which produces about the same color as phoenix 14000k bulbs. I can grow any SPS I want and the colors are amazing.  (since others have put theirs, my take is 3.6wpg)

I previously ran 2 - 250w Pheonix bulbs with 4 - T5 actinic which wasnt two bad, however I wanted to make the switch to all t5's to see what they could do and lower my power bill.

Before that I had 2 - 400w with 4 PC actinic.  I personally felt that was way to much light for the tank.  I had a hard time keeping anything alive.  Im not sure if it was my poor skills as a reefer (got them when I first got into SW).

On my Frag tank (24"x60"x12") I run 2 - 150w 12000k reeflux bulbs and have good growth.
