I've come here with a question. I'm building a pondless waterfeature in my front yard and I've been thinking about running my waste water from my ro unit to the waterfeature for auto topoff.
My question is, would this give me enough water to keep a 80 gallon reservoir full with all the evaporation I will have, or should I just tap off one of my other watersources?

you will use more waste water than what RO water you make you could probably use it for some but I think you would still need another source to finish the job but hard to really know for sure

ya my dad has one in his back yard... granted its way bigger than your will be. But he has to use a lot of water to top it off. The sprinklers do help with topping it off though. I agree with Andy,. your doing to need some other source to finish the job!

| i dont know... i have a 120 gallon pond with waterfall and the sprinklers do all the top off i need... so with only 80 gallons and it being pondless (so no water showing? just a rock bed?).. i would imagine it would help a great deal... but you may need to add water ocasinally |

For every gallon of water you use for your tank you'll get 2 to 3 gallons of waste for the water feature. How much do you use for your tank? I have a 4500 gallon pond with a stream and water fall and have to top off up between 50 and 80 gallons a week in the hottest weeks of the year. My waste water wouldn't even make a dent in that, but with yours being much smaller it might work out OK.
Of course my real suggestions is "go bigger". You can't keep fish in a pondless water feature.

That is awesome Brad! The new stairs and porch and especially the wood graining on the doors and shutters are great too. 
I still can't believe you didn't want fish though.

Thanks Mike and Will. I'm very happy with the outcome. It was also very fun to build and create. My neighbors have already asked if I could do theirs, but I said after this one, my landscaping business has retired. LOL
