Has anyone had any problems with Heniochus Butterfly fish eating Zoanthids?  I can't tell if mine are picking at the coral themselves or at stuff between the Zoanthid heads and getting small bites of the Zoanthids too.

I'd say it is unlikely.  Irritating the zoanthids... yes; eating them... no.

But I've been surprised before.

I've seen Moorish Idols, Rabbitfishes, Angelfishes and some Butterflyfishes eat zoanthids, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Well I caught one of them with a net, but now the other one knows I have it in for him.  I'll still try to get him out.  They are going in my other tank that does not have Zoanthids.  All my Zoos are closed up and some have disappeared from their rocks.  They must be eating them unless it's those insidious fire fish gobies or bar gobies I also added recently. (Which I highly doubt.)
