Any body ever use carbon fiber in their tanks?
I have a 1" tube of carbon fiber i want to use as stilts to hold my rock above the sand bed. Unsure if it would leach chemicals or have any adverse reactions. Does anybody have any experience with this?

I have worked with Carbon Fiber for many many years, To answer your question it all could depend on how it was made. Pre Preg? Single toe wet lay up? what kind of resin was used?
I am 95% sure it would be fine but if you could answer a few of thoes questions it would help.

I appreciate the feedback.
I will go on as planned.
Any other feedback gladly taken, as I am in the process of setting up a 90 w/30 sump, and will not use these for another 2 to3 days.
Thanks
Rick
