I am setting up my new 30gal Oceanic that is drilled and has an Aquatic Dreams sump/refuge.  I live in an apartment so I was thinking that I should make this more transportable in case of a move.  I need it to go to 2 spots; 1 in the refuge and 1 in the sump.  I was thinking of using a ball valve to decrease the flow to the refuge.

My main question is:  I was thinking of using that flexible ribbed pool tubing but am worried this will cause a noise problem.  Anyone have any experience using this stuff?

Or any other recommendations...

If you want it to be portable but still use rigid pvc, you could just include unions so that you could easily disassemble it.

Lots of unions and lots of ball valves.  I use the flexible PVC on all my plumbing.
